Remi was born on August 28th, 1989, in Okinawa, Japan. She had always been drawing since the age of 5, as she watched her mother painting by her side. At the age of 13, Remi moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, along with her parents, and lived there for over 4 years. Still then, her art teachers in high school were amazed by her talent. Going through difficulty of learning English language, she had faced many different types of trials in her life time. But she realizes that ART could break the wall of "language" barrier. Because of the talent that God has given to her, she is not anymore afraid to face many challenges. Now she is based in Oahu, Hawaii, living a wonderful life in paradise!

His love for creating characters evolved from the birth of his daughter, Alyssa. When she turned three, she fell madly in love with dinosaurs and that was when Pancho's character Dino Girl was introduced. It has since evolved into his tee-shirt and novelty line labeled Artist Proof.

10.18.09: Susan G. Komen " Race for the Cure"

A dear friend of mines has a family history of women who had breast cancer, so I really wanted to participate when she told me about the Susan G. Komen "Race for a Cure" Walk/Run. Though our team was only 8 members, we hope to inspire all women to participate and give a great cause. Our fabulous team met up around 6am, dressed in comfort and style! I want to thank American T-Shirt for putting PINK Shirts ON SALE! I want to thank Micha at PROLIFIK, for sponsoring our t-shirt printing. The shirts came out sick! But most of all I want to thank all the lovely ladies who participated: Reoni, Danielle, Chelsey, Victoria, Joselyn, Morae, & Alyssa. You can still make a donation at the Susan G. Komen website. Hope to see you'll next year!

What are WE doing?
We're walking to support the Hawaii Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure because WE want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Please help US reach our fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible donation today.

You may donate online with your credit card by clicking the “Support” button on this page. Your support helps us get another step closer to a world without breast cancer.

Your breast health…

The greatest risk factors for breast cancer are being female and growing older. Breast cancer knows no boundary, be it age, gender, socio-economic status or geographic location. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That’s one in eight within your company, school and organization!

The key to survival is early detection. Three simple steps for early detection are regular mammograms, clinical exams and breast self-exams. And, remember, breast cancer affects more than just the patient; friends and family need support too.

What does Komen do?
For more than 25 years, Komen for the Cure has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer – transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease, and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.
Over the next 25 years, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer if we don’t find a cure. Komen will not stop until we discover and deliver the cures. That’s our promise.

We Will Find the Cure!
